IT Field Engineer / 2nd line Support – London £30,000 + Bens + Bonus

Our Partner, operating in the IT Managed Service Sector are seeking an IT Field Engineer / 2nd line Support Analyst to support their clients who are all London based.

The main responsibility IT Field Engineer / 2nd line Support is providing on-site support within the Microsoft operating & application arena along with essential general system administration tasks. 

The role is based on client sites and at the head office in West London. Whilst not attending site, time will be spent at the HQ, where the candidate will be required to support the Service Desk.

SKILLS:

  • Superior Customer Service Skills
  • Microsoft Windows Desktop
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP / DNS
  • Microsoft Windows Server
  • Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 
  • MS Office / Office 365
  • Network Administration & Data Backup Technologies
  • VMWare, Hyper-V or Citrix experience.
  • Experience of various Anti Virus technologies – deploying and troubleshooting
  • Networking Experience (routers, switches & firewalls
