2nd Line Support Engineer | £32,000 - £36,000 + Benefits | City of London

Our Client Partner, a global Professional Services business operating in the heart of the City of London, requires a 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their IT team. The successful 2nd Line Support Engineer will be providing BAU and Project based services to 240 users cross the UK, Europe and Asia with some travel required.

Experience: 

  • Experience working in an IT Support role at a 2nd Line level
  • Working on IT Projects
  • Supporting business applications on Windows Server
  • Active Directory management  
  • MS Windows 10/Windows 7
  • MS Office 2016 / Office 365 Support
  • Email Support – (Exchange / 365)
  • Citrix or Terminal Services
  • Mimecast support or similar

Responsibilities: 

  • Acting as the escalation point to Coordinate professional and timely responses to IT issues and requests .
  • Working on IT Projects
  • Using initiative to provide business solutions, ensuring effective communication of status and progress to all customers in line with agreed SLA’s
  • Infrequent travel to Europe and Asia to provide IT Support.
