Our Partner, operating in the Engineering Sector are seeking a 2nd line Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst to support to provide 2nd line technical support within the Microsoft operating & application arena along with essential general system administration tasks.

The Successful 2nd line Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst will be resolving technical support tickets as part of a team on a busy Service Desk.

SKILLS: 2nd line Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst

  • Ensure the Service Desk is the first point of contact and 'go to point' for all IT hardware, software & telephony support requests
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems
  • Windows XP, 7, 8,10
  • Windows Server 2008/2012.
  • Active Directory
  • Understanding of PC hardware and software set-up and configuration.
  • Knowledge and experience of IT security technologies, processes and policies
  • Deploy & maintain a variety of software applications ensuring compliance with licensing agreements.
